The Google Pixel 10 is shaping up to be an exciting release, with some major shifts in hardware and design. One of the biggest changes is Google's move to TSMC for the Tensor G5 chipset, which could bring better efficiency and performance compared to previous Samsung-made chips.
Another notable upgrade is the switch to MediaTek's T900 modem, replacing Samsung's Exynos modem. Despite this change, the Pixel 10 series will still support satellite connectivity, ensuring emergency communication in remote areas.
The Pixel 10 lineup is expected to include a range of models, offering different levels of performance and features. The base Pixel 10 might finally get an upgraded camera setup, making it feel more like a flagship rather than a scaled-down version of the Pro models.
Interestingly, Google may launch the Pixel 10 earlier than expected, possibly in mid-year, instead of the usual late-year timeframe.
